Business Development Representative

Stoneridge Software is seeking a passionate and proactive Business Development Representative to enhance our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting prospect lists, engaging with potential clients, and fostering relationships with both prospects and internal stakeholders. Utilizing our customer relationship management and company prospecting tools will be a key part of your strategy.In addition to the responsibilities mentioned, we expect you to drive the acquisition of new logos and play a crucial role in growing our revenue by identifying new business opportunities. Your efforts will be instrumental in expanding our market presence and contributing to our overall success.A Day in the LifeUtilize company prospecting tools to identify prospects who show intent to purchase our solutionsIdentify new opportunities through our internal leads databaseBuild relationships with our partners to create leadsIntake new leads from multiple sources and categorize them based on defined criteriaDevelop high proficiency in managing prospects in customer relationship management toolDevelop relationships with prospects that drive new business opportunitiesIndependently follow up on cold and warm leads to further the sales processCommunicate product and industry expertise with prospectsMeet with prospects to identify and qualify their needs, including understanding decision makers, delivery timeframe, budget status, challenges and pain points, and competition statusDevelop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyaltyCollaborate with Sales Leadership to determine lead assignmentProvide detailed account and opportunity information to the sales team during hand-offImprove sales skills to increase success ratesMonitor scorecards to determine progress towards goalsEvaluate and refine current business growth metrics while developing new metrics to boost campaign effectivenessFoster and champion psychological safety and a positive team environmentOther duties and responsibilities as assignedPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business or related fieldMicrosoft Dynamic ERP and CRM ExperienceExperience in inside sales or similar roleThorough understanding of marketing fundamentals and negotiating techniquesPassion for driving new business and fast learnerExperience with creating multiple-step campaigns that drive resultsUtilize data-driven insights to enhance campaign effectivenessStrong oral/written communication skillsStrong planning and organizational skillsRobust interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and proactive approachResults-driven approach with self-motivationPerform in a high-paced and creative environmentAbility to communicate effectively in both spoken and written EnglishWork Location: This position is available remotely in the United States and Canada.Travel Required: Incumbent is expected to regularly meet with client teams across the United States and Canada (up to 25%) and will be asked to attend industry events from time to timeVisa Sponsorship Information: Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.
