Company Type: Commercial Real Estate Owner/OperatorPosition SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk to support the financial operations of a privately held commercial real estate company.This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate books and records, supporting property-level reporting, cash management, and ensuring timely processing of payables and receivables. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, owner-operated environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts PayableProcess vendor invoices and ensure proper coding by property and expense categoryMatch invoices to contracts and approvalsPrepare and process check runs and ACH paymentsMaintain vendor files and W-9 recordsAssist with 1099 preparationAssist with cash managementAccounts ReceivablePost tenant rent payments (retail, NNN, and multifamily)Monitor and track delinquenciesPrepare tenant statements and assist with collection follow-upQualifications2+ years of AP/AR experience (real estate experience preferred)Understanding of basic accounting principles (debits/credits, reconciliations)Experience with property management/accounting software (e.g., AppFolio, MRI, Yardi, or similar) preferredProficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple properties and deadlines simultaneouslyProfessional communication skillsPreferred ExperienceCommercial retail and NNN lease accountingExperience working in a small owner-operated real estate firmCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceOpportunity for growth within an expanding real estate portfolioWork EnvironmentThis is an in-office position in Beverly Hills, working closely with ownership and management.
