Bus MonitorThe Arlington Central School District is currently looking to hire Bus Monitors for the start of the 2025/2026 school year. This position involves responsibility for the routine supervision and care of school-age children as well as the maintenance of order and discipline in a school vehicle. Typical work may include but is not limited to the following: Maintaining order on and around school buses; Intervenes in confrontations and student fights, if necessary, and attempt to calm students; May escort students to and from special appointments; Monitors students in parking lots and supervises the loading of buses; May assist in rendering of first aid emergencies; Informs superiors of observations of student behavior; Related work as required.
