Controller

Grazzini Brothers & Company is seeking an experienced Controller to lead and coordinate our finance, administration, and HR functions. We are a 100+ year-old nationwide specialty contractor specializing in commercial and industrial ceramic tile, terrazzo, granite, marble, carpet, and soft flooring installation. Our mission is to provide quality craftsmanship, superior service, and steadfast reliability on every project. *What You’ll Do* As Controller, you will play a key leadership role in managing the company’s financial operations and supporting the continued growth of the organization. Responsibilities include: * Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, HR, and contract administration * Assist with annual budgeting and monitor performance, cash flow, and the company’s line of credit * Lead month-end and year-end closing processes and prepare financial reports * Manage job cost reporting, budgets, and work-in-progress schedules * Partner with project management to review job estimates, budgets, billing, and financial performance * Monitor accounts receivable and collection activity * Prepare financial statements and performance measures for leadership * Coordinate year-end information for auditors * Manage Acumatica and financial report writing * Assist with sales tax filings, insurance renewals, audits, and government reporting * Identify opportunities to improve and streamline department processes *What We’re Looking For* * Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field, or an equivalent level of relevant knowledge * At least five years of experience in accounting, payroll, and staff management * Previous commercial construction accounting experience * Ability to work effectively with senior leadership * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities * Strong Microsoft Office and general computer skills * Ability to work independently * Acumatica knowledge and CPA credentials are a plus If you are an experienced financial leader who understands job costing, work-in-progress reporting, and the demands of the construction industry, we would love to hear from you.
