Job Description Position ResponsibilitiesPick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customersPick up returns and coresDrop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programsDaily collection of credit accountsBuild and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveriesAssist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction valueMaintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lotGeneral stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle countsMaintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with salesEngage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or servicesOther duties as assigned Success Factors Safe driving and navigation abilityAbility to use delivery board systemFriendly and persuasive communicationAbility to locate and stock parts Safety knowledge and skillsOperating inventory systems (Back stock) and store equipmentSales aptitude and customer service orientationAbility to identify customer needs and recommend solutions Essential Job Skills Necessary for Success as a Driver Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers,0 peers and leadershipRead and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manualsUse basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings and weekends as neededConfidence in engaging customers and promoting productsWilling to learn about new products and sales techniques Prior Experience that Sets a Driver up for Success * Automotive parts experience is preferred Education * High school diploma or equivalent Certificates, Licenses, Registrations * Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Physical Demands The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is usually working inside; however, they will occasionally be outside and exposed to various weather conditions while performing such tasks as installing batteries and wiper blades. The employee is also occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; explosives; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Compensation Range The good faith estimate for this role is between 16.40 USD and 17.75 USD per hour for a new team member. The rate offered depends on a number of factors, including geographic location, experience in retail, automotive knowledge, education, leadership roles, and other skillsets ideal for this position and shift differential (if applicable).
