Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
Plum Creek Recovery Ranch in Lockhart, Texas is looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to ensure that all HR operations are carried out smoothly and effectively. You will be responsible for supporting HR strategies and providing sound advice to senior management on all related subjects. The right candidate will be an experienced professional with deep knowledge of all matters concerning HR operations, Texas state employment laws, federal employment laws, and best practices. The goal is to ensure that all HR needs of the company are being met and are aligned with business objectives, while managing projects and tasks that promote the strategic initiatives of Plum Creek Recovery Ranch.This is an on-site position and is not eligible for remote work.Essential Duties:Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organizations goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retentionPlans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organizations human resource compliance and strategy needsAdministers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and developmentIdentifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent managementConducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organizations human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management systemMonitors and ensures the organizations compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain complianceMaintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper managementDevelops and implements departmental budgetRecruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the departmentOversees the daily workflow of the departmentProvides constructive and timely performance evaluationsHandles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policyFacilitates professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staffPerforms related duties, as requestedUpholds the Organization's ethics and customer service standardsOther duties as assignedRequirementsHigh school degree required. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training preferredMinimum of 4 years of progressively increasing responsibility in employee relations, compensation, benefits, and complianceStrong computer and online database use is imperative. Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite is a must. Use of Kronos or other HRIS platforms, Workable and other recruiting platforms, as well as the ability to become familiar with company-specific programs or software, is required. (We use Gusto for an HRIS)Experience in or exposure to HR initiatives such as hiring, training, and recruiting in Healthcare preferredProficient in collaboration of duties with accounting, as well as corporate HR representatives, coaching management team members on best practices, FLSA and payday laws, new hire tracking, offer letters, background checks, employee file building, and end-of-employment stepsStrong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills with impeccable multitasking skillsExceptional interpersonal skillsExperience with AR/AP and Payroll is a must.
