Senior DevOps / Infrastructure EngineerFull-time | Onsite in SoHo, NYC | $160–200K + meaningful equityA fast-growing AI-native SaaS company used by Fortune 500 retailers is hiring a Senior DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to own and scale the cloud systems behind a mission critical enterprise platform. Backed by a recent $14M seed round, the team is expanding after a year in stealth and is now strengthening its core engineering infrastructure.This role offers high ownership, hands-on architecture, and close collaboration with backend and ML teams. You will ensure the platform remains secure, scalable, observable, and reliable as the company continues rapid growth.ResponsibilitiesArchitect and build secure, scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform/TerragruntDesign and maintain CI/CD pipelines; automate manual workflowsOwn production reliability, including observability stacks, SLI/SLOs, and incident responseImplement and champion GitOps workflowsBuild compliance-ready infrastructure (SOC 2,GDPR), IAM best practices, and secrets managementOptimize cloud costs while maintaining performanceDevelop internal tooling and documentation to accelerate engineering workflowsMentor engineers and contribute to long-term infrastructure strategyRequirements5+ years as a DevOps or Infrastructure EngineerProven experience owning infrastructure end-to-endBackground in VC-backed startups or mid-sized companiesStrong experience building and managing AWS infrastructure for B2B SaaSExpertise with Kubernetes (EKS preferred)Deep hands-on experience with Terraform and TerragruntSkilled with CI/CD design and maintenanceStrong knowledge of Docker, Python, Bash, JenkinsBased in the greater NYC area; onsite 4–5 days per weekAdditional DetailsTech stack: AWS, Kubernetes, EKS, Terraform, Terragrunt, Python, Bash, Jenkins, DockerHiring: 1 headcountWork policy: Onsite in SoHo, NYC; remote on some Fridays
