About the Role
The Litigation Quality Control (QC) Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of litigation and legal dispute related work product. This position supports expert witnesses, consultants, and project teams by conducting detailed quality reviews of expert reports, supporting exhibits, and research materials. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional proofreading, fact‑checking, citation formatting and verification, and document review skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Perform quality control reviews of expert reports, declarations, and other litigation‑related materials
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness across facts, arguments, citations, and supporting documentation
Identify and communicate discrepancies, omissions, or inconsistencies to project teams
Review and validate citations, references, and source materials for accuracy and proper attribution
Verify that sources support report conclusions and conduct fact‑checking of data, statistics, and referenced materials
Proofread and edit documents for grammar, clarity, consistency, and formatting
Ensure a consistent voice and style across multi‑author documents and review version changes
Validate accuracy of data, calculations, charts, and exhibits, ensuring alignment with narrative content
Collaborate with attorneys, experts, and project teams to resolve issues and improve quality
Document findings and support continuous improvement of quality control processes
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
Relevant experience in law, editing, publishing, research, compliance, or a related field
Strong proofreading, editing, and document review skills with high attention to detail
Experience reviewing complex, technical, or multi-author documents
Knowledge of citation verification, fact‑checking, and source validation practices
Proficiency with SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and document management tools
Experience with tracked changes, redlining, and collaborative document workflows
Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy
Familiarity with standard citation styles (e.g., MLA)
