This initiative is sponsored and funded by the NNSA Minority Serving Institutions Partnership Program (MSIPP) for Sustainable STEM Workforce.On any given day, you may be called on to work on research in one or more of the following topic areas:Molten salt power cycles and concentrating solar Advanced reactors such as supercritical CO2 power cycles Hypersonic flows, shock tubes, cavity flows, wind tunnel testing, CFD simulations Combustion and flame science, multiphase reacting flows, spray and aerosols, optical diagnostics Aerospace experiments including particle image velocimetry, remote atmospheric sensing, and optical diagnostics Proliferation detection and remote sensingSalary RangeAt Sandia, we value the important work done by our interns and its contribution to National Security. Because of this, our interns earn competitive pay rates. Our pay structure is based on earned credit hours, classification, and degree level. Your pay rate will be determined during the hire process and included in your offer package.
