Delivery Driver: Class A CDL

Who We Are:Watkins Distributing is a family owned and operated beverage distribution company that has serviced Idaho and Montana for four generations.Job Summary:Delivery Driver: Class A CDL are responsible for local delivery activities within a defined territory.The work schedule is 4, 10 hour shifts.Key Responsibilities:Complete a pre-trip vehicle inspectionDrive an assigned route, delivering product in a safe, timely, and professional manner, adhering to all DOT and traffic regulationsUnload product from trailer using a pallet jack and/or hand truckCheck product in with store personnelEnsure deliveries are accurate by verifying orders and obtaining signaturesFill all cooler space, shelf space, and displays at the time of deliveryRotate all product according to company standardsPick up empty keg shells, damaged items, or mis-ordered product for creditCollect invoices and complete detailed route paperwork dailyCommunicate effectively with sales representatives and store personnelPerforms other related duties as assignedPreferred Skills & Abilities: Delivery driver experience preferredValid driver’s license and no major driving violationsAbility to obtain and maintain a Class-A CDL license, and medical cardMust be able to navigate a hand truck full of productAbility to utilize standard hand-held computer input/output devicesPhysical Demands & Work EnvironmentMust be able to lift and move cases ranging from 20 - 30 lbs. regularly and 160 lbs. to waist level.
