Software EngineerThe Software Engineer position will be responsible for hands on development as well as lead the development of Next Generation Enterprise solutions for Global eCommerce.SE will be responsible for application development in support of the multiplatform roadmap.Responsible for application architecture, ensure high performance, scalability and availability for those applications.Areas of responsibility include:Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standardsDrives technical vision and influences product roadmap and visionImplement largescale, complex, crossfunctional projectsLeads the discovery phase of large projects to develop high level designSupervise the work of crossfunctional groups of engineers, including offshore associatesDirects root cause analysis of critical business and production issuesDocuments testing and maintenance of application corrections and improvementsInfluence decisions, builds consensus, and resolves conflicts constructively and proactivelySupports business objectives and ensures the business needs are being metMinimum QualificationsBachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems7+ years of experience in eCommerce Software development7+ years of programming experience in architecting highly scalable & performing Web Applications5+ years of experience with Open Source technologies4+ years of developing / architecting high transaction high throughput systems is a must2+ years of experience with integrating 3rd party solutions in existing architecture2+ years of experience in agile ways of working in a distributed geographical modelAdditional Preferred Qualifications:Bachelors degree in computer science or related disciplineMust have experience in: Java, GCP, AZURE and Cloud.Current Technology stack being used: Java, Spring boot, Azure kubene test, Google big query, OracleWhat makes a candidate profile stand out to you?Client experienceMinimum 8+ years of experience in API/System/Backend developmentKeywords (in their order of priority): Java 8 and above, Springboot, GCP, BigQuery, CI/CD, kafka, streaming API, Junit, docker, kubernetesHow will they contribute to the project?Candidate would be a full stack senior software engineer who will build a scalable and accurate data integration solution using Java, Springboot and GCP infrastructure.
