Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager / Construction Superintendent who is local to a major city in and willing to relocate or commute as needed. This leadership role involves overseeing large-scale construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with industry-standard software tools. Duties
Oversee all phases of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel to maintain productivity and safety standards.
Develop and manage project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software.
Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure project scope aligns with client expectations.
Monitor construction activities for quality control, safety compliance (OSHA standards), and adherence to specifications.
Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimating using HeavyBid and other estimating tools.
Conduct regular site inspections, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
Lead project meetings, communicate progress updates to stakeholders, and resolve on-site conflicts efficiently.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
Manage procurement processes, including construction estimating and contract administration.
Skills
Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising large-scale projects.
Proficiency with Primavera P6, Primavera P3, HeavyBid, Bluebeam, ProCore, and other construction management software.
Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating techniques.
Strong understanding of contracts, project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control procedures.
Hands-on experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety standards such as OSHA regulations.
Excellent management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and supervise multiple subcontractors simultaneously.
Familiarity with pipeline projects or heavy civil infrastructure is a plus.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately using tools like ohmmeter when necessary. This role requires a dedicated professional committed to delivering high-quality results while maintaining safety standards across all project phases. Candidates should demonstrate leadership capabilities paired with technical expertise in the construction industry to succeed in this position.
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
