The candidate will operate and maintain laboratory instruments, perform quality control procedures, and assist in the development of new laboratory procedures. Phlebotomy and other patient-oriented tasks may also be required.ResponsibilitiesPerform all routine and complicated laboratory procedures relevant to the assigned section.Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments while ensuring adherence to quality control standards.Process and handle patient specimens appropriately, including minimizing pediatric specimen volume when necessary.Utilize the Laboratory Information System for result calculations and verifications.Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new testing procedures.Adapt care methods to meet the unique needs of each patient.Complete all required compliance tasks and follow applicable policies and procedures.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureBachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field from an accredited institution or equivalent laboratory training.No experience required for recent graduates of clinical laboratory training programs.One year of clinical laboratory experience, including rotations in Blood Banking, Microbiology, Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, and Urinalysis.Certification as MT, MLS, CLS, or MLT from an acceptable certifying agency, maintained current.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
