In this role, you will lead fundraising initiatives, build and maintain donor relationships, manage grant opportunities, and support events and community engagement efforts. You will work closely with executive leadership and the Board to drive revenue growth and strengthen community partnerships.What You Will DoLead assigned team, driving a donor-centric culture, building relationships, and implementing a comprehensive, year-round fundraising program to accomplish goals:Identify corporate sponsors, individual donors, family foundations and general supporters; cultivate, recruit and steward these prospects, growing engagement and revenue across each fundraising channelIdentify and assist in writing and submitting grant proposals to increase financial support of Foundation or identified program activities/development, including government, corporate, and family foundationsAct as a liaison to engage Foundation board members and encourage board givingFoster relationships with health systems, medical community, and local community partners to garner financial and collaborative supportDevelop and implement planned giving and legacy giving programsCollaborate with team members to implement special events, including educational conferences, marketing events, and large-scale GalaLead Marketing Team to manage and coordinate the creation of event materials for a full schedule of cultivation and stewardship eventsManage event budgets and expense tracking and work with the Development and Finance teams to timely submit invoices for paymentExpertise with development software and must be able to evaluate and upgrade existing technology. Currently Care Plus NJ utilizes E-Tapestry customer database software (e.g. data input, record updating, gift processing, report production)What We Need To SeeBachelor's degree in event management, marketing, business, nonprofit management, or related field from an accredited college or university3 - 5 years of experience in fundraising experience in the nonprofit sector (mental health experience preferred)Preferred - fundraising certificationMust demonstrate progressive achievements in fundraising & developmentExperience in obtaining major grants and major giftsCurrent and valid driver's license required and must be insurable by agency's automobile insuranceAbout CarePlus New JerseyCarePlus New Jersey continues to be a leader in mental health and a pioneer in integrated care in Northern New Jersey for more than 45 years.
