Senior Backend or Full Stack Engineer / .NET / React / Distributed Systems
Overview:
In this role you will design and reinforce the backend stack for streaming and on-demand services, building APIs, event-driven components, and ingestion/packaging workflows. You will work on distributed systems underpinning live and on-demand experiences within a remote-first team. The position emphasizes new development across a large AWS-based .NET estate, contributing to scalable, mission-critical applications. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, customer-focused streaming capabilities. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape a growing platform for media companies. Responsibilities:
- Develop and harden backend services and APIs for streaming platforms
- Build and maintain event-driven and distributed systems
- Implement ingestion and packaging workflows for live and on-demand content
- Contribute to all-new development efforts on a scalable AWS-based stack
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable streaming capabilities
Key requirements:
- 4+ years of software development experienceC# and .NET for backend engineers; React for Full Stack
- Extensive AWS Serverless experience (ECS, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, Aurora, S3, CloudFront, CloudWatch)
- Experience building consumer-facing and/or mission-critical applications
