This position partners closely with the Director of Retail to bring strategy to life, balancing exceptional member service with strong merchandising and operational execution.This is a hands-on role, supporting inventory management, buying strategies, visual presentation, and retail events.What You'll DoDeliver world-class service through meaningful interactions with members and guestsCreate and uphold visually compelling, "best of the best" retail displaysUtilize the Jonas POS system to manage SKUs, pricing, and merchandise receivingKeep stockrooms organized, efficient, and operationally strongManage the full special-order process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clear communicationPartner with the Director of Retail on product assortment and buying strategiesMonitor inventory levels and execute reorders to maintain proper stock levelsTake ownership of returns and defective merchandise processesSupport retail strategy execution across Golf, Tennis, and Aquatics retail areasAssist in planning, promoting, and executing Golf Shop events and tournamentsAnalyze sales trends to optimize inventory mix and turnoverBuild strong, professional relationships with members, team members, and vendor partnersSupport day-to-day operations at the sales counter as neededPrioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environmentWhat You Bring2+ years of merchandising or retail experiencePrivate club experience preferred, but not requiredA passion for retail and delivering an elevated customer experienceStrong organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environmentA team-first mindset with strong communication skillsA proactive, "can-do" approach with a sense of ownershipWhat We OfferWe Invest In Our Team And Support Total Well-beingFull-time, on-site position with competitive compensationComplimentary meals and parkingHealth, dental, and vision insuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA)401(k) with company matchEmployee discounts on golf, tennis, fitness, and apparelCongressional Country Club is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.Salary: $24.00 - $26.00 per hourJob Posted by ApplicantPro
