Technical Writer
Basic Required Skills
· Demonstrated writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to clarity, grammar, and structure.
· Ability to write, format, and organize technical documentation, reports, summaries, and meeting notes for a variety of audiences.
· Familiarity with document version control and formatting using standard templates.
· Ability to collect and interpret basic scientific or technical data and translate it into understandable written content.
· Experience documenting meetings, including preparing agendas, writing minutes, and tracking action items.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
· Ability to work collaboratively with team members and subject matter experts to complete writing assignments on time.
· Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple writing tasks.
· Basic understanding of confidentiality and data security when handling sensitive or regulatory information.
Other Desired Skills
· Familiarity with clinical or regulatory data, including reviewing data plans or writing assessment reports related to data quality or integrity.
· Experience preparing materials for public dissemination, including coordination with graphic designers or layout teams.
· Knowledge of scientific documentation standards or regulatory publishing conventions.
· Experience with SharePoint or other document collaboration/content management platforms.
· Familiarity with publishing software or tools (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, EndNote, Visio).
· Exposure to process documentation, SOP development, or workflow mapping.
· Understanding of basic public health, pharmaceutical, or scientific terminology.
· Knowledge of accessibility and Section 508 compliance in document formatting.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
