We are seeking an individual who is looking for a high growth, fast paced opportunity with a well-funded and rapidly growing organization. An interest in accounting, finance, renewable energy, and/or real estate is important. The Staff Accountant will support daily accounting operations and the monthly close process by executing transactional and recurring accounting tasks. Our culture is work hard/play hard, creative, innovative, and collaborative. SolaREIT has a proven track record of success, a scalable business model, and secure funding to grow.Fantastic team environment with the opportunity to work with a group of highly experienced professionals. Competitive benefits plus 401k matching program. Competitive Salary + potential for bonuses based on individual and company performance.  Core Job Responsibilities Manage accounts payable, including vendor invoice processing, recording expense reports, payment runs, vendor records, and 1099 support Maintain operating expense (OPEX) payable schedules and related documentation Record daily cash activity and prepare journal entries from bank transactions Support cash reconciliation and month‑end close processes Prepare recurring month‑end journal entries (accruals, payroll, bonus allocations, depreciation, lease accounting, distributions, and related liabilities) Maintain accounting schedules, including fixed assets, right‑of‑use (ROU) assets, and customer deposits Assist with customer deposit analysis and related reporting under supervision Issue invoices as assigned and follow up as needed Support compliance activities Assist with audit requests and finance documentation  We are looking for someone who is passionate about clean energy and is dedicated to making a positive impact on the environment.
