This is an exciting opportunity to work on advanced systems that directly enhance the survivability and battlespace awareness of fielded assets.The Role Support the technical evolution of Java-based applications for warfighter training and planning. Enhance survivability and battlespace awareness through integrating intelligence data, physics models, and tactical hardware health. Contribute to the software design of the FBM Planner suite, including GUI, Rapid Response Tool, and Socrates parsing utility. Ensure seamless interoperability with external intelligence and modeling frameworks like TGx and TMSS. Implement heuristic algorithms for search plan optimization and various Earth radius models. Support robust data ingestion and export pipelines for tactical log data and search plan files. Assist in adopting DoD DevSecOps best practices and meeting rigorous cybersecurity standards for operational military environments.What You'll Need Bachelor's degree with zero years of experience, or four years of related experience in lieu of a degree. Strong programming skills in modern languages such as C++, Java, or Python. Experience with XML data structures and parsing utilities.
