Designer-(Toddler Boys, Toddler Girls & Baby)-Corporate Headquarters, Secaucus, NJ

Position Summary:The Designer will join our apparel design team, focusing on Toddler Girl and Newborn apparel, overseeing the end-to-end product design process, from initial concept to final prototype across multiple categories. Responsibilities include market research, sketching, refining product fit, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and on-trend Toddler and Newborn apparel. The Designer will build effective collaborative relationships and maintain the unique look, integrity, and vision of the brand.Key Accountabilities:Possess a critical eye for design, color, and fit, with the ability to self-edit and refine work to meet brand standardsEnsure product is consistent with market trends while maintaining the brand identity and business strategyResearch competitive markets to identify new trends, fabrics, and techniquesShop local NJ and/or NYC markets for design inspirationConcept and execute silhouette, fit, construction and styling direction through detailed tech pack developmentSketch and color assigned categories in IllustratorEnsure production/sampling packages are accurate and completePartner with Merchandising Team to set seasonal framework and ensure creative ideas and business goals are alignedSet seasonal fabric and trim direction, working with Product Development, Production and R&D Teams regarding QA results and development issuesParticipate in fittings and provide design intent to maintain brand integrity throughout all stagesMaintain daily communication with Merchandising, Production, and Technical Design TeamsAdhere to cross-functional calendar and attend all meetings as requiredProvide a positive and collaborative work environmentEducation and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in design or related field3+ years of experience in design or related fieldSkills and Behaviors:Ability to design within concepts and iterate on designs based on feedback and market performanceComprehensive knowledge of fabrications, silhouettes, color assortment, construction techniques, and trimHighly organized with effective communication skillsMust be able to work towards multiple deadlines with shifting prioritiesProficient in Adobe Illustrator, PLM and Microsoft OfficeDetails:Full time role located in Secaucus, New JerseyHybrid work model includes in-office days on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.Health, Vision & Dental Insurance for full-time employees401K with employer match programGenerous employee discount
