DevSecOps EngineerWork SnapshotType: W2 ContractLocation: Seattle, WACommitment: Full-TimePay Rate: $50 $75/hourWhat You'll Be DoingMaintain AWS infrastructure as code using Terraform with modular, reusable patterns across VPC, EC2, ECS, EKS, IAM, S3, and SQS within HIPAA-regulated production environmentsPartner with InfoSec to run and tune security scanning tools including Semgrep, Checkov, and Lacework and integrate them into delivery pipelinesBuild automation in Python or Node.js to reduce manual toil and eliminate repetitive operational tasksImplement self-scaling and self-healing configurations while strengthening CI/CD pipeline security and reliabilityMonitor infrastructure using Prometheus, Grafana, and the LGTM stack; participate in on-call rotations and blameless post-mortemsWhat We're Looking ForStrong experience in AWS services including VPC, EC2, ECS, IAM, S3, and SQS in production environmentsStrong experience in Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices with modular design patternsStrong experience in scripting and automation using Python or Node.jsStrong experience in SAST, DAST, or CSPM tooling alongside logging and monitoring systemsStrong experience in VPC design, network security, and cloud security principlesStrong experience in HIPAA, SOC2, or PCI-DSS compliance environments is a plus; Kubernetes/EKS and GitOps familiarity (ArgoCD, Flux) preferredApplication ProcessOpen the Mercor application link included in this email.Register for a Mercor account if you do not already have one, or log in to your existing account.After signing in, submit your application for the role on Mercor.
