Position Overview Our Associate Electrical Engineers are the future of Castillo Engineering. This role supports the team’s utility‑scale solar and battery storage projects by updating marked‑up designs in AutoCAD, performing electrical calculations, and preparing power system studies under the guidance of experienced mentors. What You’ll Do Assist with engineering design for solar PV and BESS projects Help prepare drawings, calculations, and technical documentation Support civil, electrical, and structural engineering teams Review surveys, equipment specs, and project inputs Learn permitting, utility requirements, and engineering standards What You Bring Bachelor’s in electrical engineering or other related discipline. Strong interest in renewable energy and solar power Exposure to AutoCAD or similar tools through coursework or internships Good communication skills and attention to detail Eagerness to learn and grow as an engineer Internship or co‑op experience preferred Familiarity with solar PV systems preferred Autodesk Certified Professional preferred Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) or intent to pursue licensure preferred Work Environment & Benefits This role has an onsite work arrangement in Maitland, FL.
