We're seeking a Data Platform Engineer to help drive the reliability, performance, and evolution of a modern analytics ecosystem built on Snowflake, Oracle Exadata, Talend, Denodo, and Informatica IDMC.In this role, you'll serve as a key platform owner, ensuring our data environment is secure, scalable, observable, and production-ready while enabling faster analytics delivery across the enterprise.Ideal Candidate:The ideal candidate is a senior DataOps or Data Platform Engineer with 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise data platforms and analytics environments. They bring hands-on expertise with Snowflake, Oracle Exadata, Talend, Denodo, or Informatica IDMC, along with strong SQL, data modeling, and platform optimization skills. They have a platform ownership mindset, excel at troubleshooting and improving reliability, and can effectively partner with both technical and business stakeholders while mentoring junior team members. posting SrWhat You'll Do:Own day-to-day operations, performance, and reliability of enterprise data platformsMonitor and support Snowflake, Oracle Exadata, Talend, Denodo, and Informatica IDMC environmentsImplement DataOps best practices, monitoring, alerting, and operational dashboardsTroubleshoot complex platform and data pipeline issuesOptimize platform performance, resiliency, and cost efficiencyCollaborate with architecture, governance, analytics, and engineering teamsMentor junior engineers and promote platform engineering excellenceWhat We're Looking For:7+ years of experience in Data Platform Engineering, Data Infrastructure, or Analytics Platform Operations5+ years of advanced SQL development and performance tuning3+ years designing Data Marts with dimensional modeling (Facts, Dimensions, Star/Snowflake Schemas)Experience with Snowflake, Oracle Exadata, Talend, Denodo, and/or Informatica IDMCStrong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder engagement skillsExperience supporting enterprise analytics and reporting environmentsNice to Have:Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation experienceCloud platform optimization and cost managementData security, governance, and access control expertiseFamiliarity with Power Apps or low-code analytics solutionsEducation:High School Diploma or Equivalent requiredIf you're looking for an opportunity to make a significant impact on enterprise data operations while working with modern clouds and analytics technologies, we'd love to hear from you.The hourly rate for this position is $79.96.TM Floyd & Company is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
