DataStaff, Inc is in need of a PowerBuilder/.Net Developer for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients located in Richmond, VA*The position is hybrid; 3 days per week are onsiteJob Description: This PowerBuilder/.Net Developer position will serve as backup support on the Banking application. The individual in this position will assist with translating formal requirements documentation into database and program solutions.Ideal candidates will be able to work independently and as a team. The ability to adapt to change and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers is essential. Comply with all system development policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines, including coding standards and reviews.Responsibilities: Performs complex system administration, maintenance and support for production systems.Develops and maintains technical documentation.Primarily supports the FIIS application, which is written in PowerBuilder.Provides support to other applications that are written in .Net.Performing system administration, maintenance, and supportResponding to system alerts and user events; making recommendations; and documenting findingsDesigning, developing, modifying, testing, debugging, and implementing programs and systemsDeveloping and maintaining standard operating procedures and technical documentationRequired Skills:4 Years - PowerBuilder/Infomaker5 Years - Website Maintenance (Asp.net, MVC, Web Forms, Blazor)5 Years - Visual Studio5 Years - HTML, CSS, JavaScript1 Year - WEB API Maintenance (C#, EF, LINQ)5 Years - Oracle/ SQL Server5 Years - Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Visio, SharePoint and Office applications5 Years - Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities5 Years - Excellent verbal and written communication skills5 Years - Ability to work independently with minimal direction and as a team5 Years - Highly motivated and self-directedDesired Skills:3 Years - Microsoft Dynamics 3653 Years - Experience working with Azure DevOps or Team Foundation Server3 Years - Client-server (EXE) application maintenance (C#/VB.NET, Entity Framework, ORACLE)This opportunity is available on a corp-to-corp basis or as a W2 position with a competitive benefits package.
