Forklift Operators and warehouse team members play a critical role in keeping materials moving safely, accurately, and on time to support our customers and internal teams.Position OverviewThe Forklift Operator / Material Handler plays a key role in daily warehouse and distribution operations. This position is responsible for safely moving materials, preparing customer orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting a clean and safe work environment. Reliability, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards are essential.Work ScheduleMonday-Friday: 6:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. or until all work is completedRotating Saturdays: 6:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. or until all work is completedFull-time, non-exempt hourly position; eligible for overtime after 40 hours in a workweekDue to the nature of the role, occasional evening and weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines and business demands. Employees will be notified in advance when such additional hours are needed and will be compensated accordingly for all overtime worked.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate sit-down forklifts and other material-handling equipmentLoad, unload, transport, and stack materials including angle iron, mortar, concrete products, and sandbagsPick, stage, wrap, and prepare customer orders for shipmentLoad and unload delivery trucks; verify incoming shipments against purchase ordersUn-tarp flatbed trailersPerform cutting tasks using shear machines and cutting torches as requiredPaint materials using a spray gun when neededConduct pre-use forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety concernsComplete and submit inventory and shipping documentation accuratelyPerform general warehouse duties including sweeping, trash removal, pallet wrapping, stocking, and cleaningIdentify and report safety hazards; follow all safety, quality, and customer service standardsRequired Skills and ExperienceMinimum of 6 months of verifiable sit-down forklift experienceAbility to safely lift and carry 50-100 poundsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructionsWillingness to work overtime as requiredAbility to pass a pre-employment drug test and background checkMust be at least 18 years of ageWhat Success Looks Like HereSuccess in this role means consistently showing up prepared, working safely, and contributing to smooth daily operations.
