Project Architect (Northern California)
The SLAM Collaborative is seeking a Project Architect in the Sacramento, CA area with a minimum of 5-10+ years of experience. Candidates for this position will possess team leadership skills, along with strong management skills and acumen. Experience with HCAI and construction administration is required. This remote, on-site position will support the firm's projects located in Northern California, in addition to other projects for our Los Angeles office and nationwide practice as needed. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Continuously collaborate with P-I-C and/or internal team membersDevelop and express concepts accurately and rapidly to meet deadlinesAttend client meetings in-house and at client sitesSupport the needs of both internal and external clientsMaintain positive communications and work with colleagues and clientsMay consult manufacturers and evaluate materialsMay have responsibility for writing architectural specificationsProvide direction and mentorship to junior staff membersTracking and response for project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, field directives, change orders, applications for payment and project closeout documentsObserve ongoing construction with respect to adherence to the requirements of contract documents Key Skills: Experience in Healthcare project types preferredClient and project management skills requiredExperience with space planning, design, multi-discipline team coordination and leadership requiredTechnical proficiency in building construction, codes, and construction documentsStrong communication skills and team oriented professionalBasic proficiency in Revit and other applications is necessaryAbility to work independently with proficient organizational and time management skillsHighly-motivated, good team player with the ability to juggle multiple tasks, collaborate with large multi-disciplinary teams, and work well under deadlinesStrong written and verbal communications skillsLicensure required Learn more about us at: www.slamcoll.com The anticipated salary range for this position is $75,000 - 100,000.
