Job Description Seeking to hire Electricians for our client, a major manufacturer of automated electromechanical devices. Their team environment is one of continuous blending of mechanical devices, controls, and software merging into automated machinery that can be leveraged by commercial laundries to optimize processes and reduce labor costs. This can be an opportunity for a Lead Electrician or for someone looking to grow to that level, offering a fast-paced work environment in the heart of Chicago along with competitive compensation and benefits.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Wiring industrial machinesPanel buildingPulling cableInstalling panelsDiagnose problems, replace or repair parts, detect and replace defective control modulesPerform tests on equipment and adjust as necessaryIncludes being responsible for wiring custom automated electrical panels, assisting with PLC control panel building and wiring, utilizing electrical blueprints, schematics, and bill of materials to assemble control panels.Requirements:* Strong working knowledge of electrical wiring from schematics* 0-5 years' experience in an Electrician capacity; entry-level candidates are welcome to applyOther Details:Schedule: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PMOvertime: Must be able to work overtime, availability to work Saturdays is highly preferredLocation: Chicago; Fullerton & Pulaski areaBenefits:After 30 days of employment, you will qualify for health benefits; including medical, dental, and vision coverage.You will accrue 1 hour of PTO for every 35 hours you work; it starts accruing immediately.Paid overtime.Company DescriptionReal People.
