Job DescriptionEmployment Defense AttorneyWe are partnered with a firm in Santa Barbara, Ca. that is seeking a highly motivated Employment Law Attorney with 3-7 years of litigation experience to join their growing Labor & Employment practice. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in employment law, excellent writing skills, and experience handling cases from initial intake through resolution.Responsibilities:Defend employers in employment-related claims, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage & hour mattersConduct investigations, interviews, and fact developmentDraft pleadings, discovery, motions, and legal memorandaRepresent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and court appearancesProvide day-to-day counsel on employment law compliance and risk managementCollaborate with partners and clients on case strategy and litigation planningQualifications:J.D. from an accredited law schoolActive CA bar membership in good standing3-7 years of employment litigation as a practicing attorneyStrong research, writing, and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple matters independently while working in a team environmentWe Offer: Competitive salary, performance bonuses, professional development support, hybrid work flexibility, and comprehensive benefits.
