Developer Platform Consultant12 Month Contract | Remote | Europe (WET / CET Time Zones)83zero are partnered with a cyber powerhouse consultancy delivering cutting-edge cloud, security, and edge platform solutions for enterprise customers across Europe.We are currently looking for a Developer Platform Consultant with strong Cloudflare experience to join on a 12-month contract, working remotely from anywhere in Europe.This role sits within a post-sales consulting team, providing advisory and hands-on implementation services to enterprise customers using the Cloudflare Developer Platform.You will focus on building and deploying serverless applications using Cloudflare technologies, helping customers design scalable, secure and high-performance internet applications.The RoleAs a Developer Platform Consultant, you will work directly with enterprise customers to design, build and implement solutions on the Cloudflare Developer Platform, particularly around Cloudflare Workers and edge-based architectures.You will play a key role in helping organisations migrate, modernise and secure applications using Cloudflare’s serverless ecosystem.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver advisory and hands-on implementation services using the Cloudflare platformDesign and build serverless applications using Cloudflare WorkersGather business and technical requirements, use cases and user stories from customersProduce solution documentation including:Solution DesignHigh Level Design (HLD)Low Level Design (LLD)Deployment and migration plansImplement and manage changes within Cloudflare environmentsSupport migrations to Cloudflare edge architectureTroubleshoot implementation issues and collaborate with engineering and support teamsContribute to internal knowledge sharing, documentation, automation scripts and best practicesKey Technical SkillsStrong development experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScriptHands-on experience with Cloudflare WorkersExperience with Workers APIs and Cloudflare Developer Platform services, such as:Workers KVWorkers AID1R2ImagesExperience developing serverless applicationsStrong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOpsExperience working in customer-facing consulting environmentsAdditional Technical ExperienceExperience with some of the following is beneficial:Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitScripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, BashInternet protocols including TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, HTTPObservability, logging, troubleshooting and performance monitoring
