School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Vineland, New Jersey

Embark on a rewarding contract role supporting students as a school nurse near Vineland, NJ. This full-time, onsite position runs from ASAP until June 17, 2026. Work closely with an 18-21-year-old student enrolled in a job transition program dedicated to preparing for life after graduation. Each morning begins at 7:05am at Timber Creek before accompanying the student to various community job sites, ensuring both safety and opportunity for growth.Key Qualifications:Valid RN license required; previous experience in a school setting preferredStrong clinical assessment and emergency response skillsComfortable supporting students with seizure disordersAbility to carry and administer medications according to IEP/health plansAdaptability to varied environments within the school and communityExcellent communication and documentation abilitiesPrimary Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 nursing care for a student with medical needs during both classroom and offsite job-related activitiesMonitor and manage seizure activity and ensure a prompt medical response if neededAdminister prescribed medications safely and accurately throughout the dayCommunicate effectively with teachers, transition coordinators, and family as neededAdapt to different business settings where student job training occursMaintain detailed, up-to-date medical records and documentationThis contract role offers a dynamic experience outside of the traditional classroom, supporting a young adult's journey to independence in real-world settings.
