The ideal candidate will be hands-on in automating infrastructure, deployments, and collaborating across teams to ensure seamless CI/CD processes. Job Title: DevOps with Python Engineer Location: Reston, VA (Onsite from Day One) Interview Mode: In-Person (Client Interview Required) Key Qualifications:Experience: 10+ years in DevOpsTools & Platforms:GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform (module/script development)WS: Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, VPC, CloudWatch, EventBridge, MonitoringShell scripting, YAML, and Python (Intermediate/Advanced)Deployment & CI/CD:Build automation using Jenkins, GitLab, Maven, Gradle, or AWS CodePipelinertifact management via Nexus, Git, SVNSystem Knowledge:Proficient in Unix/Linux environmentsExperience with change/incident management processesFamiliarity with release & deployment processes and documentation Responsibilities:Develop Terraform scripts for cloud infrastructure automationutomate build and deployment pipelines for new applicationsSet up and manage AWS environments and servicesMonitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issuesPerform production releases and coordinate with cross-functional teamsuthor best practice guides, implementation/backout plans, and reusable scriptsDrive AWS migration and adoption projectsIdentify opportunities for automation and implement infrastructure as code (IaC)Submit and manage change requests and incidentsEnsure compliance with DevOps standards and controls
