Sr. Business Analyst

About the CompanyOur Client, a well-established aerospace parts distributor and manufacturer based in the Los Angeles area is seeking an experienced ERP Business Analyst with working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to serve as the functional lead between business operations and the BC development team. The successful candidate will work closely with leadership, operations, finance, purchasing, inventory, and production teams to improve how Business Central supports day-to-day business processes and will direct the technical team on system enhancements and customizations.What You'll DoServe as the internal subject matter expert on Business Central across manufacturing, distribution, finance, purchasing, and operationsWork directly with leadership, operations, finance, and production teams to understand business needs and translate them into clear ERP requirementsDirect and oversee BC developers on customizations, enhancements, and system improvementsLead design and documentation of ERP workflows — from requirements gathering through testing and go-liveStandardize and improve manufacturing process flows to reduce cycle time variability and improve routing accuracyOversee reporting, dashboards, and BI tools to improve visibility across the businessManage integrations and system enhancements in collaboration with the technical teamSupport and train end users across departmentsIdentify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve workflow efficiencyWhat You'll NeedWorking knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central — enough to configure, guide developers, and drive system improvements (BC preferred; candidates with strong Dynamics NAV, D365 F&O, SAP Business One, Epicor, Infor, or comparable manufacturing ERP experience will be considered)Manufacturing ERP background — aerospace, defense, precision manufacturing, MRO, or similar regulated environment strongly preferredSolid understanding of manufacturing concepts: BOMs, routings, production orders, MRP, job costing, inventory control, traceability, lot/serial controlExperience gathering requirements, writing functional specs, and directing technical teamsPower BI or comparable reporting/BI experience a plusFamiliarity with AS9100, quality systems, or compliance-oriented manufacturing is a bonusStrong communicator — comfortable working with both shop floor operations and executive leadership
