About This RoleKai Executives is working with a dynamic and growing firm who are looking for a Commercial Real Estate Financing Attorney with 4+ years of experience to join their growing transactional practice. We are seeking an entrepreneurial and autonomous lawyer who can run borrower-side deals from start to finish for their sophisticated clients. This is a key hire to support their expanding client needs and offers a ground-floor opportunity to help shape and build their borrower-side group.ResponsibilitiesRepresent private investors, developers, and REITs in connection with acquisitions, dispositions, and purchase and sales of commercial real estate assets.Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, joint venture agreements, and related transactional documentation.Run deals autonomously, serving as the primary point of contact for clients and managing all aspects of the transaction from inception to closing.Provide creative legal solutions for private clients with specific, often non-standard, deal terms.Manage multiple deals simultaneously at various stages in a highly collaborative environment.Requirements4 - 15 years of experience in borrower-side commercial real estate transactional law, running deals from start to finish.Proven ability to independently run CRE lending deals start to finish.Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, and purchase/sales.Must be admitted to the New York Bar or eligible to waive in.Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements.
