Deburr & Assembly Specialist
Job Summary:
Assembly/Deburr Specialist is a skilled and detail-oriented individual that will be responsible for handwork, such as removing burrs and sharp edges from machined parts, assembling components, and ensuring that all products meet quality standards. This role is critical in maintaining the precision and functionality of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
Deburring:
Remove burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from machined parts using various tools such as files, sanders, grinders, and deburring equipment.
Assist sheet metal department with bending, forming, and operating punch/laser machines.
Inspect parts for surface imperfections and ensure smooth finishes.
Follow detailed work instructions and blueprints to achieve required specifications.
Assembly:
Assemble components and subassemblies according to detailed work instructions, drawings, and models.
Perform precise measurements and alignments to ensure proper fit and function.
Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to assemble parts.
Quality Control:
· Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of parts and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards.
· Identify and report any defects, discrepancies, or non-conformances.
· Maintain accurate records of inspections and assembly processes.
Maintenance and Safety:
· Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are in good working condition.
· Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaboration and Communication:
· Work closely with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure efficient workflow and production.
· Communicate any issues, delays, or improvements needed to supervisors promptly.
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
