This role focuses on designing and implementing intelligent automation solutions to enhance patient engagement and streamline operational workflows.You will work on innovative use cases involving voice-driven interactions, leveraging modern interoperability standards such as USCDI R4 APIs and FHIR Scheduling APIs within a Greenfield environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement integrations between AI voice agents and Meditech ExpanseDevelop and optimize voice-driven workflows for key healthcare use cases, including:Call routing and triagingAppointment scheduling and re-schedulingPrescription refill requestsPatient password reset and access supportUtilize USCDI R4 Patient Access APIs and FHIR Scheduling APIs for seamless data exchangeTest and validate API connectivity within Greenfield WorkspaceCollaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to ensure accurate workflow mappingEnsure compliance with healthcare data standards and interoperability requirementsTroubleshoot integration issues and optimize performanceRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong experience with Meditech Expanse integrationsHands-on experience with FHIR APIs (especially Scheduling) and USCDI R4 standardsExperience integrating AI voice platforms / conversational AI systemsSolid understanding of healthcare workflows (patient access, scheduling, pharmacy, etc.)Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and healthcare data exchange formatsFamiliarity with Greenfield implementations or sandbox testing environmentsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience in healthcare interoperability projectsExposure to AI/ML-driven voice automation platforms (e.g., conversational AI, IVR modernization)Prior experience with patient engagement or digital front door solutionsEngagement DetailsPart-time consulting role with flexible hoursOpportunity to work on cutting-edge AI + healthcare integration use casesImmediate start preferred
