Job Title: Sales RepresentativeLocation: Brooklyn, NYCompany: Local Architectural Metals Manufacturer About the RoleWe are a local architectural metals manufacturer seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Representative to join our expanding team. This role is based in our Brooklyn office and is crucial to driving our sales efforts in the Tri-state area. Our product range includes convector enclosures, planters, architectural grilles, A/C sleeves, railings, and tree guards.Compensation: Base salary commensurate with industry experience.ResponsibilitiesProspect and Sell: Actively seek out new business opportunities and generate sales leads.Daily Sales Calls/Emails: Engage in regular outreach to potential clients via phone and email.Close Sales: Secure deals and achieve sales targets.Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong, long-term relationships with clients.Account Management: Oversee and manage accounts post-sale to ensure customer satisfaction.Develop Sales Materials: Create sales proposals, presentations, and quotes tailored to client needs.Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, products, and technical advancements.Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and production teams on active orders.Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as required to support the sales process. Experience / Knowledge RequirementsExperience: Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience in the construction industry, including both inside and outside sales.Closing Experience: At least 5 years of experience in closing sales.Relationship Building: Proven ability to quickly establish and maintain relationships with clients.Skills: Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Technical Knowledge: Experience with architectural products, blueprints, and metal products is essential.Construction Background: Previous experience in construction and metal products is a must.
