Paramedic
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled, professional & dedicated Paramedic with at least 2 years of 911 experience to join our emergency medical team.

The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in patient assessment and emergency medicine, providing vital pre-hospital care in high-pressure situations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where exceptional patient care and rapid response are paramount. Candidates should have a strong background in Pre-hospital settings, with proficiency in airway management, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring. Must possess valid National Registered Paramedic certification, ACLS, BCLS, CPR & PA EVOC certification, a valid PA driver’s license, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting, are essential.
Duties
Provide advanced emergency medical care to patients in pre-hospital settings, including trauma, medical emergencies, and critical care transport
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations
Manage airway patency using advanced techniques and equipment; administer injections and medications as prescribed
Perform triage to prioritize patient needs based on severity; coordinate with hospital staff for seamless patient transfer
Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures such as venipuncture and medication administration
Operate emergency medical equipment (DME) effectively; maintain cleanliness and readiness of all tools and supplies
Drive emergency vehicles safely under urgent conditions while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols
Document patient information accurately and comprehensively for legal and medical purposes
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in high-stakes environments such as Level I Trauma Centers or Emergency Rooms
Experience
Critical care experience within hospital or trauma center environments preferred, especially Level I or Level II trauma centers
Extensive Paramedic experience with a strong foundation in emergency medicine practices
Proven expertise in airway management, medication administration, and patient assessment techniques
Experience with critical care transport services is highly desirable
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and DME usage is necessary for effective patient care
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting; comfort working under stressful conditions is essential
Firefighter I experience is a plus
This position requires candidates to demonstrate professionalism, quick decision-making skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes in emergency stressful situations.
Must pass all VRFR, local, state, and federal background checks.
Job Types: Full-time, Per diem
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 48 per week
