This role is pivotal in analyzing, modeling, and forecasting financial data related to cloud services and on-premises data center workloads. The ideal candidate combines financial acumen with strong data analytics skills to support strategic decision-making and cost optimization initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Analyze and interpret IT financial data across cloud and enterprise environments, including consumption, billing, and chargeback models.Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize cost trends, migration impacts, and workload optimization opportunities.Perform variance analysis on monthly and annual IT spend, identifying anomalies and opportunities for cost savings.Maintain and enhance datasets from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.Document processes and procedures for financial reporting and analysis.Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and finance teams to align cost models with operational realities.Support cloud migration planning by modeling cost scenarios and forecasting capacity needs.Contribute to FinOps strategy development by providing insights on cost drivers and utilization patterns.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.Advanced proficiency in Power BI (Power Query, DAX), Excel, and data visualization best practices.Strong data modeling and data manipulation skills across multiple heterogeneous data sources.Experience with cloud cost management and billing structures.Understanding of server migration strategies and workload cost modeling.Ability to translate complex technical data into actionable business insights.Preferred Qualifications:FinOps certification or training.Experience with reserved capacity planning and optimization strategies.Knowledge of enterprise architecture and IT strategic planning frameworks.Required Experience Summary:Bachelor s degree in relevant field 4+ yearsPower BI, Power Query, DAX, Excel 5+ yearsData modeling and data manipulation 5+ yearsCloud cost management and billing systems 5+ yearsServer migration and cost modeling 5+ yearsData-driven insight generation for technical and business stakeholders 5+ years
