Relocation assistance is NOT provided.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a drug screen.Discover Impactful Work:We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Senior Engineering Technician to support both engineering development and daily sustaining operations within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary engineering team that supports daily manufacturing operations of X-ray tubes/power supplies and Neutron generators. This hands-on role is responsible for building and maintaining custom test fixtures, ensuring high equipment uptime, and supporting facility and production equipment.The ideal candidate has strong electronics troubleshooting experience (high-voltage (>2kV) a plus), is comfortable working across electromechanical systems, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.A Day in the Life:Build, troubleshoot, and maintain custom test fixtures to support engineering and production needsProvide daily sustaining support for manufacturing operations, ensuring high equipment availability and reliabilityPerform routine and non-routine preventive maintenance (PMs) on manufacturing equipment and toolsetsTroubleshoot equipment issues, diagnose root causes, and perform repairs to restore systems to operational statusRespond to equipment alarms, failures, and process interruptions in a timely mannerConduct failure analysis on equipment and product to support root cause investigations and corrective actionsRead and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics during troubleshooting and repairMaintain and service facility equipment to ensure safe and continuous operationCollaborate with engineering and production teams to return equipment to serviceDocument maintenance activities, repairs, and test procedures in accordance with quality requirementsManage multiple tasks and adjust quickly to changing prioritiesKeys to Success:Education And ExperienceAssociate’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field, preferred; or High school diploma or GED and at least 4 years of equivalent hands-on experience.Strong background in electronics (analog and digital) troubleshooting and diagnostics at the component level.Working knowledge of electro-mechanical systems.Experience troubleshooting complex manufacturing or production systems (e.g., high vacuum systems, high voltage power supplies (>50kV)).Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.Hands-on experience performing preventive maintenance and corrective repairs.Experience using electronic test and measurement equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a production environment.Physical requirements include standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and manual dexterity.Understanding of safety protocols and compliance requirements.Preferred ExperienceExperience working with high voltage or high vacuum systemsExperience building and maintaining custom test fixturesFamiliarity with failure analysis and root cause methodologiesBasic machine shop skills (lathe, mill, drill press, power tools)Additional relevant certifications a plusKey CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and ownership of workSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyEffective communication and collaboration across teamsAdaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentBenefits:We offer competitive remuneration, annual incentive plan bonus, healthcare, and a range of employee benefits.
