This role is vital to ensuring our customers needs are consistently met, promoting our companys continued strong national growth./ppSupervisory Responsibilities: None/ppInternal Relationships: All Departments/ppExternal Relationships: Occasional and incidental contact with customers or prospective customers/ppTraits Displayed:/pulliAbility to exude high energy, solution-based thinking, while focusing great attention to detail and maintaining a service-oriented disposition./liliContribute to a work environment that promotes pride in being part of a winning team and encourages personal and professional growth and success./liliAssure productivity and high-quality standards are constant so that the company and employees collectively enjoy optimum financial returns, job security, personal career growth and excellent service to customers./liliAbility to provide exemplary and consistent customer satisfaction, with a strong capacity for building relationships./li/ulpPrimary Responsibilities:/pulliWork under the direction of the Demand Manufacturing Planning Manager to determine appropriate methods of scheduling work order completion./liliUnderstand best methods to utilize production capacity./liliEnsure capacity plan is followed./liliTroubleshoot potential capacity issues on an ongoing basis./liliPrepare information to assist in the development of budgets and prepare reports to demonstrate performance towards goals./liliAssist with research efforts to identify significant variances between estimates and actual job completion times./liliUtilize ERP system to develop material and production requirements./liliWork with Sales and Operations to determine priorities and schedules required to meet customer requirements./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3pMinimum Requirements:/pulliStrong comprehension of theory of constraints./lili2+ years experience in production planning, inventory control or related experience in a fabrication environment./liliPossess solid analytical skills in forecasting and anticipating production needs and capabilities./liliKnowledge of manufacturing, quality control, and planning processes./liliAbility to understand manufacturing engineering processes./liliAbility to read and understand blueprints./liliAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing./liliExcellent computer skills, with ability to apply scheduling and data management./liliStrong interpersonal skills requiring the ability to resolve conflicting interests and obtain cooperation/li/ulpPreferred Requirements:/pulliCollege degree preferred./li/ulpEnvironment/Physical Requirements with or without Accommodation:/pulliThis job operates in a professional office environment.
