Manager, Merchandising
SUMMARYThe Manager, Merchandising partners closely with the Director of Merchandising to define and execute a women's assortment strategy and product architecture aligned with brand positioning and financial objectives.This role is instrumental in growing and elevating the women's timepiece business, leveraging consumer insights, trend analysis, and market opportunities to drive profitable expansion.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Strategy & Assortment DevelopmentSupport the development and execution of the women's product strategy, focused on growth, brand elevation, and whitespace opportunitiesPlan assortment architecture, including line size, SKU productivity, and lifecycle managementSupports channel segmentation and account-specific assortment strategiesIdentify opportunities through sales performance, trend analysis, and consumer insightsProduct Development & ExecutionPartner closely with Design and Product Development on new product creationEnsure alignment between merchandising priorities and development timelinesSupport lifecycle management through performance tracking, optimization, and disciplined discontinuationCross-Functional LeadershipCollaborate with Marketing, PR, Sales, Finance, Demand Planning, and international teams to ensure consistent product positioning and executionPartner with Marketing on Go-To-Market strategiesSupport key deliverables including catalogs, planograms, and sales toolsOperational ExcellenceMaintain accuracy and integrity of product data in PerfionOversee product sample management, including tracking, shipping, and organizationMaintain the Citizen workroom to ensure visibility of current and upcoming initiativesSupport creation of investment sheets for new product developmentBusiness SupportLiaise with Special Business Units (National Sales, Independent Retail, Travel Retail, DTC, International)Participate in sales meetings and key business reviewsSupport additional merchandising initiatives as neededQualificationsExperience in merchandising, buying, or product management (3-5 years)Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence without authorityClear, concise, and proactive communication skillsAnalytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionProficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook (Power BI a plus)Watch, jewelry, or luxury accessory experience preferredAbility to travel domestically as needed for market appointments, retail visits, and key business meetingsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree and 3 - 5 years related experience in a merchant or buying role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.EEOEAnnual Salary Range: $80,000.000 - $90,000.00
