Senior Director of Accounting
Overview: We are a fast growing venture in the high-tech space going through rapid global expansion and we are looking for a dynamic Senior Director of Accounting to join our growing team. As we buildout our global infrastructure, we are looking for someone with an exceptionally strong, technical accounting background to lead and oversee our accounting operations, close, and consolidation processes. We need someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and that is 'all-in' with joining a hypergrowth organization. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including general ledger, consolidations, and close processesEnsure timely and accurate preparation of internal and external financial statements in compliance with US GAAPServe as the subject matter expert on technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition, leases, equity, and complex transactionsDrive continuous improvement of accounting operations, systems, and processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and controlsPartner cross-functionally with Finance, FP&A, Legal, Tax, and external auditors to support business initiatives and ensure complianceProvide leadership in the design, implementation, and maintenance of internal controls in accordance with SOX (if applicable)Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team, fostering accountability and professional growthCommunicate financial results, risks, and insights clearly and effectively to executive leadership and stakeholdersStay current on emerging accounting standards and regulatory changes, and assess their impact on the organizationQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Big 4 public accounting and corporate leadership rolesMinimum 1-year of experience in or auditing a manufacturing business Deep understanding of technical accounting, accounting operations, and financial reportingDemonstrated leadership experience managing and scaling teams in complex, fast-paced environmentsExceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present clearly and confidently to senior leadershipStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracyExperience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite) and financial reporting toolsProven ability to drive execution, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines
