Speech Therapists Needed – Working with ChildrenCompetitive Weekly PaySummaryUnder general direction, the Speech Therapist is responsible for providing speech and language assessments and therapy services to students in accordance with the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), Individualized Education Plan (IEP), or Interim Individualized Education Plan. The role includes collaboration with parents, guardians, and interdisciplinary team members.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide speech and language assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and developmental levelsAnalyze test results and prepare written summaries for Early Intervention, CPSE, CSE, and related agenciesPlan and conduct speech and language interventions aligned with established goalsImplement testing procedures to evaluate and monitor student progressPrepare and submit required written reports and documentationAssess oral motor development and feeding-related abilitiesDevelop individualized treatment plans based on identified needsRemain current with alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) techniquesImplement and support appropriate use of AAC devices and assistive technologyMaintain attendance records and progress notesCommunicate regularly with parents, guardians, and team membersParticipate in team meetings, evaluations, and case conferencesEnsure services are consistent with educational goals and regulatory requirementsComplete all required documentation in a timely and accurate mannerProvide supervision to students and CFYs as assignedQualificationsAbility to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to maintain strict confidentialityAbility to work independently and manage multiple responsibilitiesStrong organizational and time management skillsComfortable using computers and electronic devicesKnowledge of Assistive Technology, AAC, PECS, and manual language preferredEducation & ExperienceMaster's Degree in Speech and Language PathologyOne year of prior Speech Therapy experience preferredLicense / Certification RequirementsCurrent New York State License in Speech and Language PathologyASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) requiredNYSED Certification as a TSHH or TSSLD requiredFor More Information or to Schedule an InterviewYanet HaileAccount Manager, Bond Health Staffing5824 12th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11219Phone: 718-302-0040 ext. 205Fax: 718-302-0070Email:
