Purchasing AssistantStore Support Center We are searching for an experienced Purchasing Assistant for our Store Support Center located at 600 Citadel Drive, Commerce, CA, 90040. Summary A Purchasing Assistant supports the department and reports to a buyer. This is an onsite position at our Store Support Center in Commerce, CA. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following. Other Duties May Be Assigned Or Required: Prepares purchase orders as needed. Assists department with following purchasing procedures, as well as following up on their orders to ensure that deliveries are timely. Assists and/or issues purchase order follow-up to ensure on-time deliveries and correct pricing, terms and specifications. Updates sales log reports on a daily basis. Updates and inputs cost retail prices on a daily basis. Extensive follow-up with store directors and vendors on a daily basis. Provides strong data entry support/receivers. Responsible for meeting daily deadlines. Schedules/sets up vendor appointments. Provides general support to Buyers. Education And/Or Experience Requires an associate degree and/or 2 years' experience in either grocery retail or scan coordinator experience. Compensation: The salary range for this position is $20.00 to $23.00 per hour. The actual starting pay will be determined by a number of qualifications, including, experience and relevant skills.
