Role: Senior Integration Developer – IBM API Connect LeadLocation: Lansing, MI – Onsite 5 Days/WeekDuration: Long TermEmployment Type: ContractJob SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Integration Developer / IBM API Connect Lead with strong hands-on experience in IBM API Connect (APIC), IBM DataPower, AWS, and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in enterprise integration and API development, including 5+ years of hands-on IBM API Connect experience.The candidate will lead the design, development, implementation, and support of secure, scalable enterprise API and integration solutions while providing technical guidance and mentoring to development teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise API and integration solutions.Design, develop, and manage APIs using IBM API Connect (APIC).Configure and support IBM DataPower Gateway and API Gateway policies.Deploy and manage API solutions in AWS and Kubernetes environments.Translate business requirements into technical requirements, solution designs, and implementation plans.Design and develop REST and SOAP services.Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and TLS.Work with JSON, XML, and XSLT.Provide technical leadership, design guidance, code reviews, troubleshooting, and mentoring.Collaborate with architects, business analysts, application teams, and DevOps teams.Support API lifecycle management, governance, performance, logging, monitoring, and production operations.Participate in releases, deployments, defect resolution, and production support.Required Skills10+ years of experience in integration, API development, and middleware technologies.5+ years of hands-on IBM API Connect (APIC) experience.Hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes.Strong experience with IBM DataPower Gateway.Strong REST and SOAP services experience.Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and TLS.Experience with JSON, XML, and XSLT.Experience designing scalable and secure API/integration solutions.Strong technical leadership and team mentoring experience.Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and implementation plans.Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Preferred SkillsIBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE)IBM MQIBM Transformation Extender (ITX)Red Hat OpenShiftCI/CD and DevOpsEnterprise Integration PatternsMicroservices architectureLarge-scale enterprise integration environments
