The OpportunityBCS Finance is partnering with a PE-backed Field Services platform that is seeking a Corporate Controller. This individual will partner closely with the CFO and executive team in building and scaling the accounting function. This is a highly visible role with direct exposure to the CEO and PE sponsor, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on financial infrastructure, reporting, and M&A integration.This position was created due to growth and is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic, PE-backed environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process across a multi-entity environmentOversee financial reporting and consolidations, ensuring accuracy and timelinessDrive financial transformation initiatives, including process improvement, systems optimization, and internal controlsSupport and lead M&A integration, including purchase accounting and onboarding of acquired entitiesEstablish and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and controls to support scalabilityPartner cross-functionally with operations to improve visibility into financial performance and KPIsManage external relationships, including audit, tax, and banking partnersBuild, mentor, and scale the accounting team as the business growsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred7–12+ years of progressive accounting experienceBackground in PE-backed, multi-entity, or high-growth environments preferredStrong experience with financial reporting, consolidations, and close processesExposure to M&A and integration activities highly desirableHands-on, detail-oriented leader with the ability to operate both strategically and tacticallyExperience in services, field services, construction, or related industries is a plusERP experience (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or similar) preferredWhy JoinDirect partnership with CFO and visibility to CEO and private equity sponsorOpportunity to build and shape the accounting functionJoin early in the PE lifecycle with significant runway for growth and advancementExposure to M&A and value creation initiativesHigh-impact role in a rapidly scaling platform
