KIDS CLUB SUMMER EDITION ASSISTANT TEACHER

Kids Club Summer Edition Assistant Teacher (Temporary - Summer) Dream Centers of Michigan is seeking engaging and dependable Assistant Teachers to support our 5-week Kids Club Summer Edition program. This program serves students in grades 1-5 through academic support, creative expression, and social development. The Assistant Teacher plays a key role in supporting classroom instruction, reinforcing structure and routines, and helping create a positive, consistent environment for students. This role works closely with the Lead Teacher to ensure students are supported academically, socially, and behaviorally throughout the day. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport daily instruction and small-group learning activitiesAssist in maintaining classroom structure, routines, and organizationHelp manage student behavior through positive reinforcement and redirectionSupport transitions and provide additional help during high-need momentsSupervise and engage with students to ensure a safe, positive environmentParticipate in all program activities, including Friday field trips QualificationsExperience working with elementary-aged students (grades 1-5) preferredBackground in education, child development, or related field preferredStrong teamwork, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to follow direction while taking initiative when neededPassion for youth development and creating positive student experiences DetailsSummer program - July 6 through August 7)Temporary, full-time, salaried, non-exemptMonday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PMIncludes required pre-program training (mid-late June) Please see the job description for additional information.
