Industrial Electronics Technician

About the Role As an Industrial Electronics Technician, you will serve as a critical technical resource responsible for the uptime and reliability of complex manufacturing assets. You will leverage your expertise in automation and mechanical systems to drive operational efficiency and minimize downtime in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities Execute complex repairs and preventative maintenance on CNC machinery, hydraulic presses, and automated assembly systems to ensure peak performance. Diagnose and resolve intricate electrical and mechanical failures, utilizing advanced troubleshooting techniques for PLCs, servo motors, and AC/DC drives. Interpret technical schematics and blueprints to install or modify industrial control systems in compliance with safety and electrical standards. Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities and equipment history to support continuous improvement and root cause analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to optimize equipment reliability and implement process upgrades. Manage the upkeep of pneumatic and hydraulic infrastructure to prevent system bottlenecks and ensure safety. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in industrial maintenance, specifically focusing on CNC equipment and heavy mechanical presses. Comprehensive knowledge of industrial control systems, including PLCs (Fanuc, Allen Bradley), servo drives, and industrial robotics. Proficiency in reading and interpreting hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics. Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems. Valid Journeyman’s License or equivalent professional certification. Preferred Skills Hands-on experience with gantry robots and complex conveyor systems. Strong communication skills and the ability to document technical workflows effectively. Experience working with overhead cranes and heavy industrial lifting equipment.
