The position requires a strong foundation in Big Data with knowledge of Python and SQL query language. The primary focus involves the migration of data landing and transformation jobs from Hadoop to Airflow (Astronomer) and BigQuery. The software engineer will work closely with IT team members and Business Owners to understand various business processes and apply this knowledge to design and implement solutions. Experience Required: 3+ years' experience with ETL solutions Python SQL 3+ years' experience of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) 3+ years' experience SQL/Oracle/Teradata. Ability to lead and mentor associate engineers. Ability to clearly communicate with peers, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts Experience Preferred: Experience with Airflow (Astronomer) Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Experience with BigQuery Strong Analytical skills Education Required: B.S.
