Location: 711 Bestgate Road, Annapolis, MD 21401 Hours: 4:30 p.m. - 8:45 p.m., part-time evenings (working hours may vary) Benefits: NoneJob DescriptionNature of Work:Under the supervision of the Strengthening Families Supervisor and Prevention Supervisor, will facilitate the Strengthening Families Program curriculum with groups of parents, adolescents or children, virtually or in person. This is a once-a-week, 14-week program for parents and their children at-risk for substance misuse ages 6-17. The program encourages family bonding by increasing communication skills.EducationMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in education, social work, psychology, human services, public health or related field from an accredited college or university.ExperienceTeaching or leading groups with stressed families/families in crisis, adults, adolescents, or children is preferred.NotesEvery facilitator is required to get fingerprinted.
